Jesus Christ has risen from the dead, and we all have reason to celebrate!

Three days after His crucifixion, Jesus appeared to a couple of travelers on their way from Jerusalem to Emmaus. They were shaken by the events that had just taken place and upset that their rabbi, Jesus, had been killed. Jesus hid his identity from them but explained why everything had to happen the way it did, and how all of scripture pointed towards Jesus as the Messiah. When He finally revealed himself to them, they were overjoyed and ran back to Jerusalem to tell their friends!

As followers of Jesus, we have reason to celebrate, and tell everyone we know about Jesus, the risen Messiah, the reason for our joy!
