Kingdom Come -The Suffering Servant

Phil Heller
11/1//20

In John 18, we see Jesus betrayed by one of his closest friends, and abandoned by others; another denies knowing him. He is then taken to the High Priest to be interrogated. Jesus is questioned and then abused when his answers don't satisfy his accusers.

Jesus suffered this mental, emotional and physical abuse in order to pay the price for our sinful actions. This one act of loving sacrifice, this gift, has bought our salvation, the forgiveness of our sins, and freedom from condemnation. It is up to every one of us to receive this gift that he offers.
