During the last Passover meal that Jesus shared with his disciples (his closest friends and followers) he was very careful to let them know that extremely hard times were ahead of them, but that they (the disciples) were not to lose hope.

In part one of this series we spoke of four reasons that Jesus gave to his disciples for their hearts to "not be troubled." This week, we cover one final reason in more detail. This week, we discuss the "advocate" or helper that Jesus promised would come to be with his followers once he went to be with his Father.

The phrase "Spirit of Truth" or "Holy Spirit" can cause many different pictures to come to mind for those that hear it. This week, we will discuss the person and the purpose of the Holy Spirit, and our responsibility to this counselor, helper and teacher that Jesus promised would help us throughout our lives.
