The Turning Point - The Good Shepherd
06-28-20
This week our Lead Pastor, Phil Heller, teaches from John 10:1-21. In this passage, we see Jesus reveal himself as the Good Shepherd. He contrasts himself to the thief and robber, as well as the hired hand. A thief comes to kill, steal and destroy, while a hired hand may run at the first sign of trouble. On the other hand, a good shepherd knows and looks after his sheep, and his sheep know his voice.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd, and as we come to our own turning point, we all have a choice: to listen to his voice and follow him (to live an abundant life), or to listen to all the other voices around us and be led (or stolen away) into danger and eventual death.
